WebTrak – aircraft noise monitoring
The WebTrak system tracks aircraft departing from or arriving at Valencia Airport, providing aircraft information (flight number, aircraft type and altitude) and linking it to the noise level produced, so that users can check whether noise levels remain within the legal limits established for Valencia and neighbouring towns.
The system can also track aircraft in real time or through its database history (up to 60 days), to check compliance with planned flight paths and established procedures.
Aircraft noise is monitored not only in overflown areas, but also on the ground, especially at night, on aircraft parking stands close to neighbouring towns, using microphones and video cameras known as the SCVA (Visual and Acoustic Control System).

Among other visual information, landings are shown in red, departures in green, and aircraft not known to be arriving or departing from Valencia Airport in amber.

A key WebTrak feature is checking aircraft noise levels using data from Noise Monitoring Terminals (TMR) installed around the airport.
To provide nearby residents with reliable, transparent information about aircraft operations and resulting noise levels, Aena has made this tool available to the public.
If a flight or noise event occurred near a location of interest, the system allows a complaint to be submitted so its origin can be investigated and followed up.
WebTrak data
WebTrak processes radar data and flight plans supplied by the Torrejón (ACC Madrid) and Barcelona (ACC Barcelona) Air Traffic Control Centres, together with noise data from Noise Monitoring Terminals (TMR) in surrounding municipalities, and displays it on a local map:

- Valencia (Plaza de Maguncia)
- Manises (Miguel David Street)
- Quart de Poblet (Luis Vives Street)
- Aldaia (Barrio del Cristo)
- Xirivella (Church Square)
- Mislata (Peace Avenue)
- Ribarroja (Entrenaranjos residential area)
- Mobile unit
This system is fully reliable, although some data is supplied with a 30-minute delay for security reasons. Noise levels can be viewed after 24 hours and remain available in the history for up to 45 days.
From the WebTrak application, you can submit a complaint about noise produced by an aircraft operating at Valencia Airport. Locate the aircraft in the application, select its icon, then choose “Complaint record” and complete the form.
